‘Höff’ the Polar Bear in action
‘Höff’ the Polar Bear is the latest addition to our animatronic suit collection. He has just come back from his first outing to Iceland!
Despite his naturally handsome, Polar Bear-ish good looks, Hoff is in fact an amazingly lifelike costume worn by a performer and comprises an internal soft mechanical muscle structure with arm and neck extensions.
A hair suit is worn over the top of this, with a fully animatronic Polar Bear head and neck. The animatronics of the bear’s head are operated remotely by a puppeteer and can replicate most facial expressions.
