‘Jambo’ is one of our many animatronic gorilla costumes. Based on a Lowland Silverback male gorilla.
Worn by highly experienced performers the suits are comprised of an internal soft mechanical muscle structure to transfer the performer’s movements outwards. A hair suit is worn over the top of this with areas of skin, and fully animatronic Gorilla heads.
The Gorilla’s animatronic head is remote controlled by a seperate puppeteer and is able to replicate most facial expressions.
Like our other lifelike gorilla animatronics, our Jambo suit is available to rent for film, TV and commercials.
